Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA)
and Health Care Providers

The passage of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) has mandated that people with disabilities have equal access to facilities, seminars, exhibits, and any function accessible to the general public. Private health care providers are considered public accommodations for purposes of the Act. Our highly skilled interpreters use sign language skills and spoken English skills to connect the deaf and hearing. This process ensures each participant the fundamental right to communicate freely. Download our free guide to learn more about your ADA responsibilities as a health care provider.
